Current FCP Prayer Requests:
1. Please continue to pray for Ryan and Lori Sudsberry as they prepare Cooper Creek Christian Church for its January 2009 grand opening. Pray for Ryan as he continues to prepare for his role as the lead planter, raises additional funds for the new church, searches for future staff, and makes tons of logistical plans pointing forward to the grand opening. Please pray for Lori who will serve as part-time Children’s Director and will continue to be full-time Mom for their 3 beautiful children—Ethan (5), Keagan (3), and Callie (1).
2. Thanksgiving for a successful launch of The Pursuit Christian Church with an attendance of 139 people on January 27th. Please pray that this plant would continue to grow as well as retain the families and individuals that are already attending. To visit the Miami Project website, please click here.
3. Please pray for Common Ground Christian Church as they continue to grow and reach more people in the Tampa area. Please pray for God's provision in overcoming resource difficulties for the church. To visit the Common Ground website, please click here.
4. Please continue to pray for the River Run satellite campus in Melbourne. Pray that through this church hundreds of new people would hear about Christ in Brevard County. To visit the River Run website, please click here.
5. Michael Swearingen, son of Jeff Swearingen (the lead planter at Crosspoint Christian Church) has finished his chemo treatments. Please pray for continued healing for Michael and strength for the Swearingen family. To visit the Crosspoint website, please click here.
6. Pray as FCP is recruiting financial partners outside Florida to "come over to Macedonia and help us" plant churches in our state. Right now we are able to plant two churches a year. Out Florida churches and individuals make that possible. However, to keep pace with population growth, we have to plant six and a half churches every year. Please join me in prayer that God would give us the resources to start at least three in 2009 and four in 2010.
